I was thinking about going to a four day overnight unh volleyball camp?

An Cardine: Normally, overnight summer volleyball camps are really fun! I haven't been to that particular one but I have had nothing but good experiences from attending volleyball camps. Be prepared to play all day and learn lots of skills while having fun. Most camps have a skill portion and a team portion where you play actual games against other campers. Be receptive to feedback given by the coaches and you should improve a decent amount and learn about what you need to keep working on to improve. :)...Show more

Particia Thorton: I haven't been to that particular one, but overnight volleyball camps are SO MUCH FUN!! You meet new people, learn new skills, and get to play with people you've never played with before. For advice, come prepared. Bring all of your gear (knee pads, volleyball socks, spandex, volleyball shirt, hairties, waterbottle, etc.) and stuff for overnight (pyjamas, pillow, phone, hairbrush, toothbrush & toothpaste, clothes, etc). Also, make sure t! hat you are good at taking feedback, playing with new people, and possibly playing new positions. You'll probably work on technique and game strategies, as well as playing some scrimmage games or stuff like that. Prepare to learn a lot! Also, come to the camp already knowing how serving, passing, bumping, and rotation works. This will make it a lot easier on your part.Have fun at the camp!!...Show more

Sylvie Snetting: Start just playing around with a ball. You can begin to toughen up your forearms (inside of your arms) by bouncing and ball (volleyball, soccer ball, basketball) on them. They will be red for a bit, but they will get less sore as you go. There are a lot of websites that can give you drills or check out some books from the library. The best advice I can give you is to run... because volleyball takes a lot of running and try your hardest. When you start camp, start with a positive outlook and I am sure that you will have a great time and learn a lot!...Sh! ow more

Sol Allphin: sounds fun to me.
