Sherita Gallati: Well people living in big cities are used to commuting for 1 hour or more while it is fantastic to be 5 minutes from work.You have to consider what happens in your car breaks down, can you still get to work from the new town by pubilc transport?Many people are moving to bad apartments near where they work, mostly because at home they do very little and they prefer to go out, not stay at home.On the other hand if you like to live at home and are focused on your lifestyle, finding a better place to live can be important. Jacques Teri: Okay, what's your problem? A 15 minute drive is not that long, try an hour &! a half one way, then we'll talk.
German Thal: I lived 17 miles from my job in Seattle....some mornings it was over an hour to get there. No public transportation alternative. Hated it. And going home cld be even worse.So, I think you should actually go do the drive a couple of times, check out the train or bus system and then make a decision.
