This can include homelessness/unstable housing, addictions, lower incomes than the general population, increased physical health issues, etc. So agencies that address those issues (food banks, soup kitchens, hospitals, etc.) might be good options. Because of her age she might not be considered for things like volunteering at a crisis line, but she might still be able to volunteer to do things like office support or something along those lines at agencies that work with people who experience mental health issues. Lots of communities have a volunteer bureau or 211, which is a website/number you can call for services in your county/area. They would likely be a good source to help match her interests and abilities with the needs of agencies in your area....Show more
