Arlen Decorte: Tastes like piss-water. I prefer a good Chardonnay.
Jackelyn Archut: There's not really anything to compare to but different beers. It doesn't really taste good I can tell you that much. But if you drink often you get used to it. Yeah there's a difference from beer to beer some is smoother some is kinda harsh some is just downright disgusting. Usually bottled beer is better than canned beer.In my opinion Molsen Canadian is the best. Bottled and canned. But I don't think you can get that in the states....Show more
Evelin Turlich: Beer is strong, alchoholy, and burns all the way down. Your are not missing out at all.You can try a sip though just to prove to yourself that there's no point in drinking because it is so gross.
Felipa Nosis: Well, yes each style of beer tastes different. The style that most people drink are what you call "Adjunct Lagers" like Budweiser, Coors and Miller. These beers have either corn or rice added to them to make ! the taste of hops less noticeable. You see, there are four main ingredients in Beer... hops, barley, water and yeast. Serious beer drinkers like myself actually enjoy the taste of hops, we don't like it when a brewer adds corn or rice to their beer. In fact, we often think it ruins the beer. This is especially noticeable in beers like Busch Light or Keystone Light. Adjunct light lagers are perhaps the worst tasting beers in the world. Imagine taking a glass of water and adding liquid corn to it, that's kind of what it tastes like. Real garbage... Now take a high quality beer like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and the taste is enormously different. You can taste the hops in this beer and it tastes kind of like a tart lemon/orange type of flavor with little bits of grapefruit added in, hops can taste very citrus like. There are no "adjuncts" in this beer. It will taste the way beer is supposed to taste like. Although not everyone likes the beer style known as Pale Ale, some people p! refer a high quality Lager like the brand name - Ayinger Celeb! rator, which is a style called dopplebock. This style of lager is very malty, and like most lager you won't taste the hops that much, dopplebocks have a very malty taste that tastes kind of like a real heavy cereal to some degree. some people prefer a high quality wheat beer (beer made with wheat instead of barely) like Paulaner Hefeweizen. To me they taste like liquid bread, mixed in with bits of orange like hop flavor. And of course hops can also have a very piney taste, almost like pine needles. It just depends on what style you're drinking. But it is very hard to describe the taste of beer.. Beer comes in two classes, Ales and Lagers and each class has several dozens of styles and each one has it's own unique taste. The type of barley malts used can also effect the flavor. some beers have caramel barley malts added and it gives the beer a sweet toffee/caramel like flavor. Anyhow... here's a picture of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Ayinger Celebrator......Show more
