Dalia Causby: I have rotating hobbies, as my degree of interest in something varies over time. When in a rut, and looking for something to do, I take a mental inventory of the activities and interests that I have. Reading and writing are constants in my life, then less frequently I get into photography, day hikes, swimming, or taking a class (dance, cooking, technology, etc). Whether I am good at it or not isn't so important to me. To help you decide, ask yourself these questions:* What are your interests now?* Is there something you would like to learn? * Is there something you could teach others?* Are! you looking to engage in a hobby with others who share the same interest or something that you can do on your own?* Do you need immediate results or do you have patience with time and effort? * How often do you want to engage in a hobby? Daily, weekly, monthly? Is it seasonal or do you want to do it all year long? Good luck in finding your new hobby!...Show more

Brice Greczkowski: Photography, scrapbooking, and jewelry making are fun.

Erica Bottaro: I also have no artistic talent whatsoever. However, I do scrapbooking, and it is awesome. I record my life and my family's history.

Ileen Oshell: 1

Alden Sabio: you should get into video games

Rosie Travino: Write prose/poetry, take up a sport, do volunteer work, learn a foreign language.

Robin Weelborg: I love doing scrapbooking! you don't really need to be artistic. Stores carry a variety of scrapbooking sheets and all you need to do is cut shapes and they have stencils for that! They al! so have scissors that cut in shapes so you don't have to be al! l that creative about cutting paper and making it look cute. There's also stickers, buttons, tags, pens, stamps, etc. To help you "create" a masterpiece without effort. I think it's awesome!

Booker Moros: If im not doing something active then i play video games. with video games you can meet new friends online or just play. Either way their designed for entertainment

Donovan Stallons: I have tried many different hobbies, but the one I have been at the longest is quilting. I have been quilting for over 16 years. It is a great hobby, one you can do by hand or machine. You don't need to be artistic to quilt. You just need to follow the pattern. A great site for beginning quilters is http://www.appliquequiltdesigns.com

Elden Dedon: There are alot of hobbies out there. You can get into collecting, you can build things like RC models, you can get into different kinds of music, whatever. Ask yourself a question, what do I really get a charge out of doing? ! What is the one thing that I really don't get tired of doing? And look into that. And keep your eyes open on some of the different hobbies that are out there and keep an open mind.I have alot of friends, and they have alot of hobbies. I have a friend who loves tennis, I have another friend who loves putting, not actually playing golf mind you, he just owns a putter and he loves to go to different golf courses in San Diego and practices on the putting greens. He says that it relaxes him.Still, I have another friend who is a big macho tough guy but he likes to make quilts. He told me that he he learned to sew from his grandfather, who was a tailor for one of those fancy departments stores and that he had several professional machines in his house. His grand dad showed him just what kind of skill it took to make a mens business suit that could wind up costing the client over $2,000.00. He told me that he just fell into it. He told me that he likes the skill it takes to ! make it come out right.I also have a Pakistani friend who makes kites. ! I found out from him that he was making and flying his own kites since he was a little boy in Pakistan. He makes them out of tissue paper, balsa wood and a special home made starch based glue that he cook up himself. He has over 100 of them. He flys them, he gives some of them away, and he even sells the more elaborate ones for over $100.00. Pretty cool.Bottom line, keep an open mind, give the new hobby a chance, and enjoy yourself....Show more
